El cuerpo del sensor est\u00e1 compuesto por una superficie el\u00e9ctrico resistiva.<br \/>\nConsiste en una red de detecci\u00f3n y en un circuito de excitaci\u00f3n de baja tensi\u00f3n.<br \/>\nLa medici\u00f3n se efect\u00faa mediante la transducci\u00f3n del nivel de conductividad de la red en nivel de humedad (de 0 a 15). La red de detecci\u00f3n est\u00e1 formada porun circuito impreso en un substrato de v\u00eddrio poliep\u00f3xido; los circutios de excitaci\u00f3n y de detecci\u00f3n est\u00e1n encapsulados en el interior de un bloque de resina poliep\u00f3xida negra. El sensor se coloca sobre una abrazadera de montaje con \u00e1ngulo de inclinaci\u00f3n de 45 \u00b0, para simular la posici\u00f3n t\u00edpica de una hoja y permitir as\u00ed el flujo de humedad en exceso. Puede ser instalada en un poste, tubo o palo.
