AGO sensor for InFarm control unit for monitoring bales of hay.
It detects the temperature and humidity in the core of the hay to prevent spontaneous combustion and constantly monitor the parameters of interest. Its “needle” shape means it can easily be inserted into the bales.
Through an algorithm dedicated to processing the data from this sensor, the user can obtain data on maturation of the bale and receive information on the condition of fermentation, which is responsible for spontaneous combustion.
